November

It's been a busy week at Highstrung Beads. I had a nice class recently with some of the Embroidery Guild making Christmas Ornament covers. This was the largest group I have had in a long time. The Trunk Show is going great too. Lots of the beads have found new homes in the past week. I have even adopted a few for myself. Presently, I am working on a necklace incorporating a cab from the show. I hope to get it finished before the Mistletoe Artists and Crafters Market next week. I have several other projects in the works as well. It is hard not to be creative with all this beautiful stuff around.

If you get a chance be sure to stop by Falkner University and do a little holiday shopping. I am really excited and can't wait to see what some of our local fiber artists have created. The market is November 11 and 12th from 10:00am until 6:00pm in the J.L. Perry Bldg. NO admission or parking fees.

Happy beading!

About Me

I've always loved jewelry and sparkly things, so when my life took a change I began considering my own shop. I started Highstrung Beads in January of 2003 and it is still going strong. The shop is now at it's third location and better than ever. I try to keep a selection of unusual items, pendants, and lots of gemstone as well as the standard bead items. I wish I could have even more beads in the shop, just like other bead lovers, there is never enough!!
