The new Charlottes and other cut Czech seed beads out for sale. I've worked on theses several times trying to get them marked, and finally they are ready! There are some beautiful colors in the mix. The sizes available are: 13/0 charlottes; 8/0 single cut (like a charlotte) Size 12/0 3 cuts, and peanut beads. I have just a couple of 15/0's in shades of green, the selection was slim this time. I wish I could get some time to work on my projects and figure out which ones I might want before they are gone.
I have a class coming up soon for a Christmas ornament cover. This is my own pattern and can be changed around to make different styles. Come by and sign up this week.

October!
Right now the Fair is in town and one of our "BeadFairies" has won several ribbons for her jewelry. Therese Frank enter some of her bead work and took a blue ribbon for one and second on another as well as some other ribbons.
The ladies that get together have also been working on projects and teaching each other new stitches and how to use other mediums for their jewelry.
Last night Ms. Delores taught a wire sculptured necklace to four students. This was her first class and everyone had a great time. Each person had been collection items to possibly use in their necklace/bracelet including charms, personal memorabilia, and beads. The table was covered in their selections and they proceeded to share some items with each other. Not everyone finished but the project had all of us capturing our fantasy creation in wire.
There are several classes on the bulletin board for next month, so come in and see what interests you. They are filling up. Also give us an idea of things you would like to learn.

Shows Coming to an End SOON!
The last week has been a busy one. I spent a weekend away from the shop and focused on beading and relaxing. (Why am I so tired?) I've been working on several projects and still haven't finished any of them. The Trunk Show has had a great response and I even snatched up a few thing for myself.
Next Monday, October 1, is the last day for the big show that is at the front of the store. The seed bead show will end next week as well. I hope everyone has had a chance to stop in and look them over. For sure, someone will come in after it is gone, looking for beads that are gone.
I have also purchased some African beads in brass, recycled glass (like sea glass) and other things. Not a big selection but interesting. Also some Trade Beads that are about 50 years old, for those looking for them.
Charlottes and cuts are also in the very near future. Again, limited and they go fast.
Gotta go, clock is ticking away.

New Seed Beads
Just in! A Seed Bead show. WOW two trunk shows at the same time, what's a beader to do?
Come in and SHOP! That's what. The see beads are sure to get picked up fast. There are several colors of peanut beads and lots of colors in the 15/0, 11/0, 8/0, and 6/0. The Italian beads have some 10/0 in them. This show is for two weeks.
The Big Trunk show just started too, lots of stone beads to choose from as well as pendants, findings and metal beads.

Trunk Show has arrived and ready by Thursday!!!!
I'm just back from my vacation and now it is time to get ready for the upcoming Trunk Show.
There are lots of new items to chose from including metal beads and findings, Pandora beads and bracelets, large variety of stone beads, crystal, Murano, Fimo, porcelain, pearls, and so much more. There is somethings for everyone so come in and "shop till you drop!" See sample pictures below.

New Trunk Show NOW!
We just got in a new trunk show yesterday and it is all ready for shopping. There are lots of stone and natural beads as well as crystal in 3mm, 4mm, and larger mm sizes. I've not had any of the 3mm before and lots of patterns call for that size. There is also a a selection of metal beads, pendants and charms. Come in soon as this will only be here a couple of weeks!

This Week at HSB
Hello everyone, this week Cynthia will be spending some time at the shop. I am heading out of town for a short vacation with my hubby.
There are still lots of seed beads in stock, though they are selling fast. We have also received the newest magazines and the special edition magazine for Peyote Stitch. New books are also available covering a variety of beading styles.
I hope many of you will get a chance to drop in and visit with Cyn while I am gone. She has great ideas and loves beading as much as I do.
