Changing HOURS

Starting August 10th Highstrung Beads will be closed Monday as well as Sunday. I do know this may be an inconvenience to you however I hope you will be able to adjust to the new hours. Thanks for all your support and interest in beading. I look forward to seeing everyone as usual.

New Customers

I've had several new beaders check out the shop recently. The latest was Jen Judd. She has just moved to Montgomery and wanted to see what was available here. She is such fun and loves beading.

The newest issue of Stringing features one of her pieces on the cover and the instructions are inside. She also has a blogspot and web presence so be sure to check them out. (www.jenjuddrocks.com) I look forward to seeing her and many of the other new folks in the shop.

Seed Beads Now in at Highstrung Beads

I recently received a new shipment of seed beads. There are several new colors, sizes and shapes in stock now. We were out of a number of colors in the 11's and 8's so those are also available. There was also a small shipment of 4mm firepolish in sparkling silvers, golds, and copper as well as black with various color washes.

JULY!

I cannot believe we are now in the sixth month of 2009! Where has the time gone?

Summer is now officially here and it is too hot to do much of anything outside except swim. Now is the time to bead where it is cool. Mondays seem to be a new gathering day for daytime beaders. The table was full this past Monday and Saturday with people working on different projects, chatting and sharing. Thursday's are the late night at the shop so come in and bead with us!
